I’ve been carrying this character in my head for over 20 years. This past week, I finally sat down with pencils and brought him to life — just the vision I’ve had since the very beginning.
This is Markus at 21: the scar that should have killed him, the eyes that have seen too much, the quiet intensity that never quite leaves him. He’s not a hero who starts out strong — he’s the guy who keeps standing even when the world tries to break him.
Seeing him on paper like this feels like the story is finally stepping out of my head and into the world. I’m going to finish the shirt and some shading this weekend, then I’ll share the colored version soon.
